Jamie Caron
Corporate Safety Officer
Jamie Caron has completed extensive training in workplace health and safety. Mr. Caron has more than 20 years of experience in lab, field and construction safety issues. He received his degree in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University. Jamie serves as Corporate Safety Officer for all five Empire Group companies, including Elk Environmental Services. Mr. Caron’s responsibilities include overseeing the safety of all projects, job-site safety audits, and internal safety training of employees. He also travels throughout the country providing OSHA, DOT, RCRA and Hazardous Waste training to corporate clients.

Ed Clemas
Environmental & Safety Officer/Instructor
Our Environmental & Safety Officer/Instructor Ed Clemas has 5 years’ experience in health and safety training. He is the safety inspector for all five affiliates of the Empire Group and the trainer for employees and customers. Prior to joining Elk, Ed has been an Environmental Health and Safety Manager in the wire and cable manufacturing and produce industries. He has a degree in business management and has certifications in OHSA Outreach Trainer for General Industry, HAZWOPER Train the Trainer, and CPR/AED/First Aid Trainer through American Heart Association.
Ed is an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer and specializes in:
