Since 1988, Elk has been providing environmental assistance to oil and gas industries. In the mid-2000s, various exploration and production (E & P) companies began working in the Northeast and North Central Pennsylvania due to high natural gas prices and increased demand. In 2011, we established Elk North in Wysox to provide field and waste management services to Marcellus and Utica Shale Upstream Companies. 

In the last ten years, Elk has evolved to service all sectors of the energy industry, including Upstream (E & P), Downstream, Midstream, and Industrial/Commercial. Through our experience and training, we have discovered the unique challenges of drilling sites.
