GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN
We are currently seeking a talented Graphic Design Intern to join our busy marketing department. Candidates should possess a strong design background, have the ability to take direction, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
T his internship will be an excellent learning opportunity with the chance to complete at least one graphic design project (based on skills and abilities) for portfolio use, as well as gain experience in project development and management, branding, and the daily operations of a marketing department. The intern’s primary role is to assist with the execution of visual materials to support marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include design, production, mock-up creation, document preparation for print, creating and maintaining an image library, and completion of any other work assigned.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain career experience while sharpening your design, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
- Completed coursework towards a bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited college/university
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign on a MAC platform
- An understanding of file preparation for print and web
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work collectively with others to complete projects
This position is unpaid, but academic credit is available. We ask interns to commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week. Elk Environmental Services offers a casual work environment and supports a flexible work arrangement.

FIELD FOREPERSON
We are seeking a working labor foreperson to run field crews. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication and supervisory skills and are self-motivated, hardworking, and dedicated. Equipment operating skills, UST license, and previous environmental experience are a plus, but not required. Candidates must be available to work overtime and during emergencies when needed.
