Entry Level Sales Representative

Elk Environmental Services is currently seeking a career-minded, energetic individual to join our sales team. We are looking for entry-level candidates that are motivated, have an upbeat personality, and face adversity head on. This position is for an entry-level sales role with the ability to manage multiple priorities. An environmental sales background is not required; however some knowledge of environmental services is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain relationships with current client base

  • Identify additional opportunities within current client base

  • Develop and grow a territory/client base

  • Assist with project documentation, client presentations, and other project-related tasks

  • Assist with miscellaneous operations functions

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Well developed time management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects

  • Basic understanding of environmental services, technologies, methodologies, regulations, codes, and legal issues

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and use of contact management systems

Knowledge and Experience

  • A degree in the sciences from an accredited institution is a plus
